If your eyes are the windows
to your soul, then books are certainly the roadmaps
to viewing the world and film is absolutely one
way to see it! As such, SACRED TRAVEL and AUTHENTIC
ASIA pride ourselves in associating spiritual
and cultural travel with a myriad of events and
publications, including Shambala Magazine/The
Shambala Sun and The Buddhist Film Society and
International Buddhist Film Festival.

Constantly
in search of venues through which the message
of peace and travel can be heard, SACRED
TRAVEL and AUTHENTIC ASIA will be title
sponsors to this year’s inaugural
International Buddhist Film Festival, which
debuts in Los Angeles, California in November
2003. In partnership with the LACMA (Los
Angeles County Museum of Arts), this festival
exhibition is the first major event in the
U.S. to present a selection of films from
around the world that focus on the broad
range of Buddhist personalities and practices
and serves as the key component in the BUDDHIST
FILM SOCIETY’s effort to engage diverse
audiences .
Amidst the widespread spiritual
awakening taking place in the West today,
SACRED TRAVEL and AUTHENTIC ASIA invite
you to join us in this adventure as we journey
across many lands and many faces in opening
the windows of the world to you…
